First Post: Countdown to Permanent Recess

Today is 12 days -- 12 calendar days -- until I retire from my primary occupation as teacher... for the first time in a quarter century, I have an "endless summer" stretching ahead of me. No lesson plans to keep in mind as I shop while I vacation, no pre-school meetings to anticipate in August.

No, this summer, is ALL MINE.

Not sure I am ready for it!
